Spell Petitions

Twice each month I perform a ritual aligned to the lunar cycle, and those of the Inner Circle have their intentions spoken into the flame. That circle is here.

But you need not belong to anything to ask for a working of your own.

A Working of Your Own

Magic is not improvisation. It is a body of knowledge far older than any of us, and it answers to those who have spent years learning how to speak with it. I have spent mine. Love and its undoing, protection, prosperity, healing, cleansing, divination, the shaping of will into sigil — and the darker arts that run beneath all of them. There is little I have not worked.

You may cast for yourself, and many do — it is how every one of us began, and I would not talk anyone out of their own practice. But understand what an unpractised hand risks. A rite worked without the experience to hold it does not simply fail and fall quiet. It moves. It finds the nearest thing to what was asked of it and settles there, and what returns is seldom what was wanted. A working that has turned back on its caster is far harder to undo than one that was never cast at all. If the matter is one you cannot afford to have go wrong, put it in hands that have carried it before.

Every one of the 192 rites in the grimoire can be performed for you, by my hand, at my altar. Name the one you want below and it will be done.

And there is work that will never appear in that book. Some of what I practise runs far closer to black magic than anything I would set down where an unprepared hand could reach it — not because it fails, but because it does not, and because it asks for a practitioner who understands precisely what is being set in motion. Those rites are not in the grimoire and they will not be. They can still be cast. If that is what brought you here, say so plainly and without apology.

Be certain. A working can be reversed. What it has already set moving cannot be called back. Undoing a spell does not undo what the spell did, and I would far rather you sat with the question one more night than asked for something you will spend a year trying to return.

Be exact. A request left broad gives the spirits no direction to carry it, and they will choose one of their own. Name the person. Name the thing. Name what you want to be true when it is finished. Vagueness is not humility here — it is a loose rein in the dark.

I promise no one an outcome, and you should be wary of anyone who does. What I will tell you is this: the spirits usually listen. They listen most closely to a request made with certainty, aimed at something specific, and carried to them by a hand that knows the way.

Read only by me. Never shown anywhere on this site.

Each working is priced by what it asks of me, so there is nothing to pay here and nothing is taken when you send this. I read every request myself — there is no queue and no one else — and I write back with what the rite involves and what it costs. You decide after that, never before. I reserve the right to decline a request, and now and then I do.
