What You Will Need
Four white candles
One for each corner of your home. These represent the four directions and the light that guards them. Tea lights or small votives are ideal. If you only have one candle, carry it to each corner in turn.
Salt
Placed at each corner to anchor the blessing. Any kitchen salt works well.
Bowl of water
Carried to each corner for sprinkling. Tap water with a pinch of salt dissolved in it.
Dried rosemary or thyme
A protective herb placed at each corner. Available in any kitchen spice rack. A small pinch at each corner is sufficient.
